Website, Google Ads and AI outreach for a London pest control company
This company came to us to rebuild its whole website. We redeveloped it, did the SEO and AEO work, and later took over its Google Ads. Best day so far: 10 phone taps in one day, 7 of them from the ads. Client names are kept confidential, so this page describes the work without naming the company.

What does Webify.AI do for this pest control company?
It first asked us to rebuild its whole website, and we followed that with SEO and AEO work. It then asked us to take over its Google Ads. It told us it had a £50,000 budget with a previous agency, used over one to two months, and was not happy with the calls that brought in. Our campaigns began in September 2026 on a much smaller monthly budget, and the work is ongoing.
Website rebuild
We redeveloped the whole site, with a page for each service, customer type and London area, and phone, WhatsApp and email one tap away.
SEO and AEO
We made it clear to search engines and AI assistants who the business is, what it does and where it works.
Google Ads
Separate campaigns for the jobs the company most wants, each sending searches to the page for that service. DIY and product searches are blocked, so the budget goes on people looking for a technician.
AI outreach and daily checks
An AI agent reaches out to hotels, restaurants and letting agents that may need pest control, using wording approved before anything is sent. A report every morning covers clicks, calls, taps and the health of the site.
What has changed so far?
The home page now loads faster on phones, AI assistants have started citing the site, the company can see where its phone and WhatsApp taps come from, and a problem that nearly stopped the ads was reversed within two days. We do not yet have booked-job data, so this page makes no claim about return on ad spend.
- Search and AI: by 27 October 2026, Bing had indexed 55 of the site's pages with no errors, and Microsoft Copilot had cited the site 6 times. These are early signs, because search results usually take 4 to 12 weeks to reflect changes.
- Faster on phones: in our daily mobile tests, the home page's main content appeared in about 3 seconds between 30 October and 3 November 2026, down from about 4.1 seconds between 19 and 25 October (median of each period).
- Clearer sources: a daily table now shows phone and WhatsApp taps by where the visitor came from, such as Google Ads, free Google search, Google Maps or a direct visit.
- Calls from the website: the busiest day so far was 2 November 2026, with 10 phone taps, 7 of them from ad visitors. From 19 October to 2 November the average was about 2.5 phone taps a day from all sources. This does not count numbers dialled directly or calls from Google Maps.
- A problem caught quickly: on 12 October 2026 a Google recommendation was applied to the account, which changed how the campaigns bid. Clicks fell from 14 to 20 on a working day to 1 the next day. We traced it in the account's change history and put the setting back on 14 October, and clicks that day were 21.
Why count phone and WhatsApp taps separately from Google Ads?
Because Google Ads misses taps from visitors who do not accept cookies, and most visitors on this site do not. So the website counts taps itself. In one week in October 2026 it recorded 20 phone taps from ad visitors, while Google Ads showed 4.
The counter uses no cookies and records where each visit came from, so the company can judge its ads on contact from real people rather than on Google's count alone. The size of this gap is specific to this site and its UK visitors, and it will differ elsewhere. A tap is also not a booked job: one person can tap more than once, and not every call becomes work.
What does this mean for your business?
If you pay for ads and customers reach you by phone, check how your calls are counted, and compare your ad platform's numbers with your own records. If you would rather have this done for you, we can look at your website and ads with you and tell you what we would change first.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the client?
A pest control company in London, UK. We keep client names confidential, so this page does not name the company or link to it.
Why are there no ad spend or return figures?
The company's current ad spending stays private, and we do not yet have data on how many taps and calls became booked jobs. Without that, any return figure would be a guess, so we do not quote one.
